Mom was born in the RM of Cartier on September 21, 1930 and spent her childhood on the family farm in the Fannystelle area. She attended Joyce School and finished her schooling in Starbuck. She married dad in 1950 and they farmed in the Fannystelle area for many years. Mom was a fantastic cook and enjoyed cooking for family get togethers. She enjoyed camping with family and spent many summers at Stephenfield and St. Ambroise campgrounds. In the winters she spent many hours in hockey rinks supporting me during my hockey years. Mom took a job at the RM of Grey and enjoyed working there for approximately 10 years. Moms hobbies over the years included knitting, crocheting, cross stitching, sewing, cooking, paper tole, golfing and camping. In her later years mom and Al enjoyed travelling through Manitoba and parts of Canada but especially enjoyed their trips to Hideaway Lodge.

Thank you to the nursing staff and doctors at the Carman Memorial Hospital for their wonderful care over the last few months.

At mom’s request, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association
