OSWALD PAUL CARRIERE
His legacy and memory are honoured everyday by his son Donald (Karen), daughters Lynne and Danièle (Glen) and sons-in-law Norbert & Jacques.
He is lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Manon, Mylène, Michelle (Jon), Nicole, Adrienne, Martine (Warren), Alix (Dwayne), Marcelle; and by his great-grandchildren Cole, Sophie, Myles, Gage and Miles. His youngest sibling Bernard (Jeanine) and his sisters-in-law Thérèse Carrière (late Lionel), Simone Roy (late Jean-Baptiste), Jeane Beauchemin (late Roméo), Jeannine Beauchemin (late Denis), Dolorès Laurendeau (late Louis) & numerous nieces and nephews also survive him
Oswald lived a long, happy and fruitful life. He grew up on the family homestead in St. Pierre-Jolys, where he developed strong family bonds and a work ethic that would serve him well throughout his life. Lucile and Oswald married in 1946 and began their life together on “lot 10”, Otterburne Road, where they built their dream home and raised their family. Together they enjoyed the fruits of their labour, travelling, gardening and spending time with their grandchildren. Tu nous manques beaucoup, Papa.
A heartfelt thank you to Juliette for her kindness and companionship. The family would also like to thank the staff at Actionmarguerite for taking care of Papa.
A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Boniface Cathedral, 190 avenue de la Cathédrale with l’abbé Marcel Carrière officiating. Private interment will take place at a later date at St. Pierre-Jolys Cemetery.
