KYLE LEO ARMAND MARCOTTE

It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Kyle Leo Armand Marcotte after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 21. He was surrounded by family, in his home, with Depeche Mode playing in the background.

He is survived by his loving and caring brother Kaleb Marcotte, his father Kevin Marcotte, step mom Marcie Naismith, step sister Cynthia Martinuk, paternal grandparents Armand and Jean Marcotte of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Uncle David Marcotte and Aunt Stacy Gulka. Grandparents Dale and Karen Naismith, Uncle Mike Naismith and Aunty Christine, cousins Drake, Evan and Chloe. His mother Michelle Marcotte, stepdad Erick Garcia-Pineda, maternal Great Grandfather Leo Pelland, maternal grandmother Maggie Pelland, Uncle Mike Carter and Aunt Nikki, cousins Mikayla and Mackenzie (Jared) numerous Great Aunts, Great Uncles and several second cousins. Kyle was predeceased in death by his paternal grandparents and great grandparents and maternal Great Grandmothers and A Great Grandfather.

Kyle was born in Winnipeg. He was a loving son and brother, who always made people happy wherever he went. Kyle had a great love of VHS & DVD's. Veggie Tales, Disney, Pixar, Nick Jr and many more. Kyle enjoyed making long lists of movies on his tablet in alphabetical order, off the top of his head. He also loved his Nintendo DS and his little pink mirror to look at himself and blow kisses.  His true passion was for stuffed toy animals (or toy plush as he called them) over 250+, and hard plastic figurines from happy meals, etc. He loved going to flea markets (super market as he called it) and knew exactly where to find them. Kyle never left home without an assortment of each to go anywhere (his mobile entourage).

A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, Kyle's family asks that you donate to the Winnipeg Pet Shelter (on Portage) or Cancer Care Manitoba.
