KARL HEINZ POHL
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our dad Karl Heinz Pohl at the Selkirk General Hospital. Karl is predeceased by his mother, Marta Pohl (Kapitzek) and his father, Karl Pohl. He is predeceased by his former spouse, Cecile Kakewash; and is survived by their children, Peter Pohl, Michael Pohl, Patricia Yellowega (Kenneth Yellowega), and Valerie Pohl; as well as grandson, Daniel Brown. He is predeceased by his former spouse, Katherine Bales (Blue) and is survived by their children, Krista Paulson and Richard Pohl.
The family would like to thank the staff at Selkirk General Hospital for their compassion and care, and the Ness Baptist Church for donating their time, venue, and services during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Karl’s memory to the Ness Baptist Church.
Friends and relatives are encouraged to share in a photo-tribute, stories, and condolences for the family by commenting in the comment section.
A private family Viewing will be held between 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at the Ness Baptist Church 2700 Ness Avenue, Winnipeg, with a live stream funeral service starting at 12:30 p.m.
