Charlie Smith (Rosie) on Tuesday February 4, 2020 peacefully passed away at his home with his wife and children by his side

 

He left us to join his parents, Arthur and Louisa, siblings, Florence, Phillip, Adelard and Clara. He will be deeply missed by his Wife of 55 years, Delina, his children, Shelley, Noel, Lisa (Ted) and the “Smith Wannabe” Suzanne. His grandchildren, Christopher, Samantha, Ashley, Nikolas, Keenan and Connor. His Great Granddaughter Sabrina including numerous in laws, Nephews, Nieces (great) plus many relatives and friends.

Charlie was born June 8, 1940. He moved to Winnipeg Manitoba in 1964 with his wife.

Charlie was an outdoors man. He enjoyed many things from Camping at Cayer Lake, Hunting, Fishing, Baseball, Curling, Skiidooing and Quading.

Charlie loved to tease and always enjoyed having the younger generation around him. His favorite name to call you was Rosie and for the ones close to his heart was called Bebe.

Someone who had terminal cancer once said, "don't be sad for me, we all come to this world to be tourists, enjoy life, go sightseeing, do good deeds, I just so happen to be leaving earlier than others".
